The Giants selected Hakeem Nicks with their first round pick. I really love this pick. He’s an Anquan Boldin type player. He’s a Chad Ocho Cinco type player without the headaches. I think the Giants did a nice job of drafting. They addressed needs, and gave Eli Manning targets. Some of their later picks were questionable. Other than that, it was a good job. Here is what I posted yesterday about the Day 1 picks:

More wheeling and dealing at the NFL Draft, where my Eagles have moved a couple of fifth round picks to the Patriots for starting cornerback and Sheldon Brown Go Away Jersey Ellis Hobbs. Hobbs has been starting for the Pats for years now, and while he hasn't looked anything like a #1 corner despite making good money, he's probably a better option than Publicly Pouting Sheldon...
