Giants Sign Jerome McDougle

Nobody saw this coming right? Not! Everyone knew this would happen. A day after his release, Jerome McDougle has been signed by the New York Giants who are thin on the defensive line. He will provide depth and the former 16th overall pick will play against the Eagles 2 times a year. Will he make an impact on a defense that now needs an impact player more than anyone?

	Im completely floored and shocked. I NEVER saw this coming...lol...so whens the Chad Jackson to the Eagles rumors gonna start?? He was the guy everyone was crowing for in the draft 2 years ago....now cut lol

	Who did not see this coming? I don't see this breaking the Eagles back, but I think they should have kept McDougle. Just to not help out the Giants alone should have been enough incentive to keep him on the team. I heard he was the 54th man on the roster when the cuts were made. Which means to this from office Jon Dorenbos is more valuable to this team then McDougle. A guy whose sole purpose on this team is as a long snapper. Most teams have a Long snapper/ Linemen. But the eagles feel that having Dorenbos on this team to just perform long snaps and pitiful magic tricks was more important then having an extra 6 or 7 sacks per season.
