The Vikings lead the Packers, 17-3, at halftime at Lambeau Field.
The Packers got on the board first with a 37-yard field goal from Mason Crosby with just over five minutes remaining in the first quarter. Green Bay took over at the Minnesota 21 after a fumbled shotgun snap from center John Sullivan to quarterback Brett Favre was recovered by defensive end Johnny Jolly, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers was sacked on third down to force the field goal.
Minnesota answered right back with good field position provided by Percy Harvin's 77-yard kickoff to Green Bay's 13. On third down at the 9, linebacker Nick Barnett stopped running back Chester Taylor for a 3-yard loss on his reception in the right flat, but Jolly was flagged for head butting Taylor after the play to give the Vikings first-and-goal. Peterson scored on a 1-yard plunge on fourth down to put the Vikings up 7-3.
