Yea I doubt this guy is a westbrrok come on denver... Denver has a grea run scheme... they always have ...and they are known for producing great rbs...but a wesbrook type player... westbrook is like lt and steven jackson... catches out the back fields and runs hard...

    Uh, no....

No reason why he can't be one. But before anyone watches for him, watch out for Ryan Torain. Guy is gonna be good.

why can't anyone just let Selvin have the job? He killed the raiders last year, so i'm expecting big things, especially on monday night.
      • Placard_complete_small
well Selvin will be the starter but word from camp is that Torain has been very good, Shanahan told the defense to go harder on him and he still has been very good, not to say Selvin hasn't, I like Selvin and he deserves to be the starter which he is, but with his injury problems, he is only gonna get about 15 carries a game and Torain/Pittman/Hall/Aldrige will split the rest. I like how Shanny will split it.

yeah Shanahan splits those carries and i can't pick up Selvin as a good fantasy back in that running Off.

How can someone in all reality compare an UDFA running back to the 2nd best running back in all of football?? Youve got to be kidding me. What based on similarities in siza and college production?? LMAO. In that case Curtis Enis and Kijana Carter should be shoe-ins for the HOF. LOL
    • Did you bother to read the whole post, not just the excerpt here? All it says is that this kid has looked good in training camp, and has potential to follow Westbrook's path - special teams the first few years, then make an impact on offense by year 2.

No I didnt read a nonsense article. If you were to heave read my coment, I was COMMENTING in the headline of "have the Broncos found their own Brian Westbrook" and stopped it right there where I should have. Selvin is sick, I think he will be a great back in this league, esp Broncos system. Brian Westbrook was not an UDFA and to have a headline like that would make me not even consider reading the full article. Who knows what this kid will turn out to be...I bet if it said "have they found the new LT" noone at all would have read it. I made a point, a rather common sense point, and if ya cant handle peoples opoinions, maybe he yard isnt the place for you. Not everyone is going to agree with you, or me, or anyone, thats what the reason for comments is. Brian Westbrook is the 2nd best all purpose back in football, no reason to say a UDFA is a B West for the Broncos this early, which is my point. Dont get so bent out of shape by others opinions...it will save you a big headache on this site, trust me.

Selvin is sick, I say ride him out before people start annointing an UDFA who never did, and possibly never will play a down in the NFL. With that being said, I wish him the best and hope he does have a stellar career, I always like to see the underdogs do well u kno...But give the kid some time i mean GEEEZ!!!

Now, so i can get back to waiting....that is waiting for the posts to start pouring in of "Mike Williams to the Eagles" ....LOL
  • eagles4ever05
Listen the Broncos ever sinc e I remember ALWAYS swap RBS ever other down Selvin will be the starter and Torain and Anthony will get there time just like the broncos have been doin the last umteen years
    • Placard_complete_small
The RB breakdown will be something like this. Selvin will start and get about 15 carries so he stays injury free. Then Pittman/Torain/Hall/Alridge will split the rest.
      • eagles4ever05
        yep

It surely seems the Broncos have prolly the best running scheme in the league. Not including last season, how many seasons strait did they have 1000 rushers who they would just plug into the offense and no matter who it was it was guaranteed 1000+...With the talent Slevin has, it could be a scary thought of what he may get done, hopefully running behind Williams eating up the D-Line....Itll be fun to watch, man im SO HYPE about the season coming up!! Preseason NEXT WEEK!!! Im like hype about ALL teams, I turn more into an NFL junkie everysingle year!! I needs ma fix !!! LOL
        • eagles4ever05
I know I was havin withdraws from football lwhen the season ended

haha same here man I feel ya, I ust get rubbed the wrong way with a headline comparing an UDFA who may never play a down in the NFL to the 2nd best all purpose back of most of our lifetimes so far, before the kid even makes the team. Thats all, people get over sensitive on this site, including my self in the past, but Ive learned, comments are peoples opinions, which is what makes this site what it is.
