Defensive coordinator Greg Blache last week demoted strong safety Chris Horton to the second team in favor of Reed Doughty, and Doughty delivered during a 16-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at FedEx Field. In his first start of the season, Doughty was credited with a team-high nine tackles, including eight unassisted. He also was credited with two tackles on special teams.
