How will YOUR team do in 2008? Ask MADDEN! (09)

CHECK OUT HOW YOUR TEAM DOES IN THE REGULAR SEASON AND THE PLAYOFFS THIS COMING YEAR. THE PEOPLE AT IGN SIMULATED THIS SEASON, SEE HOW YOUR TEAM DID. CHECK OUT THE LINK.

NFC North

It would be the Chicago Bears who saw their team laid to waste by the injury to their star wide receiver. A Bears team that was unable to move the ball ended up a woeful, NFL-worst 1-15 on the year. It would not be the only surprise of the year. The Vikings claimed the NFC North by virtue of a 10-6 record, with the Packers retreating to 8-8 following Brett Favre's retirement. The Lions actually won seven games, meaning that whenever Jon Kitna predicts that the team will win ten games, they'll actually win seven.

NFC South

It came down to a tiebreaker, but the Buccaneers used a Pro Bowl season from Jeff Garcia to claim their second straight NFC South crown with a 10-6 record. Joey Galloway was named to the All-Pro team by virtue of a league-leading 107 receptions for--38 yards and 10 touchdowns. They narrowly beat out the Saints, who claimed one of the two Wild Card spots. The Panthers continued to be mired in mediocrity at 8-8, while the Falcons didn't start Matt Ryan for most of the year, but still went 7-9. Michael Turner finished second in the league in rushing with 1,408 yards.

NFC West

In a division that no one wanted to win, the Rams returned to the playoffs with merely an 8-8 record. The Seahawks, 49ers, and Cardinals all finished at 6-10, with the Cards struggling following injuries to both Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald, while the Seahawks lost four games by three points or less.

bears 1 and 15! thats bs. the bears are bad... but not that bad

hahah its madden so im sure what happened is they barely scored because lets face it....there QB's suck, runningbacks unproven and they lost there leading reciever to free agency.

i liked the fact that the rams one the nfc south with an 8-8 record.

you mean NFC West

yes yes, thanks i OU like 2 vowels

but i'd like for you to pay me by the hour

sounds interesting and i think yes the bears are that bad

and they definitely could go 1-15 without hester.

keep in mind the also sim injuries so for instance, if brian urlacher was out for 15 games. but i dont honestly think they are that bad, i think they should get about 6 wins. and theyll have hester because he basically makes the league min. and missing camp will result in a pay cut which unlike some other players, he cant afford.

no brett favre on the jets?

brett wasnt in the simulation sadly

very inaccurate

of course the reason its inaccurate is because they have people that Test out the Games n play the Season n get the Results one based on the Games simulated an also who those testers choose as there players it easy to get a record or records for the NFL by playing the Season if u know how to play the Game the Favor is in ur corner.. i can play with the EAGLES my fav .team on 08 since i dont got 09 yet no one else does either lol and take them to a 12-4 season easily.... as long as u know how to play it than all out comes will favor ur gameplay... NEXT o n by the way eagles go 11-5 this season

ya but the games were simulated so it has nothing to do with how good they play the game. it has to do with teams rankings/injuries ect. not how good any1 plays because no one was playing (total simulation, no testing/playing)

hey man what bout the broncos

AFC West

Speaking of the status quo, the Chargers dominated the AFC West and went 12-4, winning the division by five games. A Denver team desperately in need of fresh blood went 7-9, while both the Chiefs and Raiders went 4-12 despite a 100-catch season from Dwayne Bowe and 947 yards (and nine touchdowns) from Darren McFadden.
