Found July 06, 2008 on Bleed Eagles Green:
A nice collection of DeSean Jackson videos. Makes you wish we had jackson in 2007. I am sure Jackson could have gotten us the 9th win and a trip to the playoffs in 2007. Reid and his devotion to Mahe. But Mahe is gone, just need to show Greg Lewis the exit next! Who do you think will handle Kick Off return duties...Demps, Booker, maybe Jackson here too?
11 Comments:
  • Considering the two wild card teams were 10-6, a ninth win would have done nothing but given us a better record.
  • And G-Lew needs not go anywhere. In 2006, when our offense actually worked, G-Lew had 27 catches, 26 for first downs. That's pretty freakin good.
  • true, but how do we keep him? With Curtis Brown Avant Baskett and Jackson.
Baskett is our best blocking WR.
  • agreed. lewis is a great role player. i am not sold on baskett at all
  • I'm not sold on reggie brown, he's a bum, he was a bum then and he's a bum now, maybe we need to demote him to 4th reciever and start jackson and put g lew in the slot bcuz at least g lewis cought the ball when he was in the game remember the new england game! G Lewis showed up. Reggie brown decided to show up at the end of the seaon and thats why we didnt win a 9th game
  • Again, what's the point of 9 wins, when we would have needed 11 to make the playoffs.
  • The only way a ninth would have helped is if it came against the redskins.
  • Freddie Mitchell looked good in college too. Give him a chance to prove himself before you anoint him.
  • That would be amazing had D-Jack been on the team in 2007. It would have given the Special Teams a tremendous boost. Not to mention give him one more year to learn the offense.

But at least he is here and not another team and that is all that matters.

So LET THE D-JACK ERA BEGIN!!!!!
  • well what we lost 3 games bty a total of 5 points i just dont get it sometimes and reggie is too good he will improve hes woken up but i really want to see if k curtis can come up wit 10+ TDs he might make the PB so gluck to him
  • Reggie Brown is very over rated, he can't get off blocks, he doesn't have blazing speed, his hands are still a question mark, you never know what you're gonna get with this guy I don't see us winning a superbowl with this guy as the #1 I just don't see it, we run an onfense based on routes and timing and he can't brake away from bump n run and he gets jammed to easy like I said before he's a bum we need to trade him or release him if you feel different let me know what I am missing here.

Patriots Acquire WR Greg Lewis from Eagles

The Patriots have just filled a void at receiver by acquiring wide receiver Greg Lewis.  Adam Schefter was the first to report the trade.  It will most likely be for a conditional draft pick. I might be in the minority, but I really like this trade.  It probably won't be for ...

Falcoholic Draft Countdown: Tampa Bay Bucs, #20

In one of the more interesting twists of our mock draft thus far, the Bucs get DeSean Jackson scooped out from under them by the Eagles. My good friend JScott at Buc 'Em would likely be unhappy about thi...

Tra & B-Dawk

I usually don't remark about teammates unless asked but I felt it was necessary to share my thoughts on a couple of teammates that are no longer in Philadelphia. I have been a part of the Philadelphia Eagles for 10 years and I have not played a game, attended a practice, sweated in training camp, built a playground or participated in a Carnival, and more importantly dreamed of...

Eagles finally draft two in the Second Round

After sliding backwards out of the first round and then again moving back in the second, the Eagles finally selected two players in the second round with picks 47 and 49. The Eagles first drafted Trevor Laws, a DT from Notre Dame who figures be another player they can eventually slot into their defensive line rotation. Laws appeared to be a bit of a reach at this point in the draft...

DeSean Jackson makes history, explains showboating

DeSean Jackson is the first player in the NFL since the Eagles' Don Looney in 1940 to open his career with consecutive 100-yard receiving games. Congratulations to the rookie and we look forward to seeing more 100-yard receiving games from you in the future. DeSean Jackson's explanation for throwing the ball away prematurely: "Things happen. It was just one of those...

When a Receiver Loses His Mind

So, wide receivers come from a different mold than other football positions. The New York Times describes the "divas" as flamboyant egomaniacs, players who have the mentality of world class sprinters who do as they wish in the open field -- and sometimes even celebrate prematurely.A friend of mine who played college football says receivers do not have to abide by the same responsibilities...

The Blame Game: The vast majority of Eagles fans want the Kolb era to begin in Philadelphia?!?! Not this guy.

If the above statement were true, then I would have to conclude that the majority of Eagles fans who wish to have Donovan McNabb benched are idiots. If you people who hate on #5 have anything to be thankful about this Thanksgiving, it should be that you were blessed to have on your team, one of the most revered and dominant QBs to play in the NFL in the past 25 years. In his 10th...

Eagles lead NFL in dropped balls. Surprised?

Fourteen. Fourteen freaking dropped balls. That is almost 3 dropped passes a game. That means 2-3 at Week 6. So, am I surprised? No, and here's why. The Eagles front office has set this team up for disaster. By bringing back Donovan McNabb for this season, the Eagles basically told the whole league, "We are going to throw the football". What the Eagles didn...

Video: Steven Jackson Gets Jacked Up By Sheldon Brown

This is why Sheldon Brown is the starter and Lito Sheppard sits on the bench... see the video. You know the story. The Eagles dominated the Rams for over 500 yards of offense and won 38-3. DeSean Jackson was incredible (107 receiving yards, 96 punt return yards). That could go down as one of the best rookie debut performances... ever. The highlight of the game for me (other...

Outsmarting the Enemy (Three Fake Handoff, Cal at UCLA)

Jeff Tedford draws UCLA's defense in to expect the run with this beautiful playcall that resulted in a DeSean Jackson TD.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson Fined $10K By The NFL

Living up to, or down to, its reputation as the No Fun League, the NFL fined Eagles rookie DeSean Jackson $10,000 for his celebration after his...

Video: Eagles-Patriots Week 3 Preseason Highlights

We're in the final days of summer and I've been spending it down at the beach, which is why there hasn't been too much posted lately. I'm sure a few of you missed the preseason game against the Patriots, but here are the highlights. Our special teams woes look like they've ended. In this game we not only had a kickoff return from Quitin Demps (who gave the...

Top 10 Reasons for the Eagles to Sign Favre

10. The Packers still owe us for taking Reggie White. 9. The green jerseys might confuse Brett and make him think he still plays for the Packers. 8. His interceptions are much more graceful than A.J. Feely's. 7. It would save Brett from having to negotiate with Al Davis. 6. If DeSean Jackson goes [...]

NFC Wild Card Live-Blog: Eagles @ Vikings, 2nd Half

Had no idea Brian Westbrook was the equestrian type.Hicks gets upended by Kyle Eckel after a 15-yard return. T-Jack hits Kleinsasser, who heads out past the 30 for a first down. No gain for AP's first carry of the half. 2 yards on the pitch to Taylor. Another big pass to Kleinsasser, 17 yards and past midfield. Both RBs exchange getting stopped up after an offsides call on...

Parity Reigns Supreme: NFL Week Three Predictions

With the exception of a few botched calls, the NFL couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. There have been a large number of games coming down to the final moments, thrilling come from behind wins and shocking upsets. The NFL has this parity thing down pat, which makes it even more difficult to figure out who is going to win each week. Yes, there are the terrible...
