Found August 01, 2008 on Dolphins Gab:
Coach Sparano plans to put his team through a series of drills simulating live scenarios, from 2-minute drills to Red Zone situations, this Saturday August 2nd. He stated that the team will not be split evenly into 2 "teams" of 40 players however. The plan is to run the first offensive unit against the first defensive unit, second units against one another, etc. but did hint that they may switch things up at some point just to see how things shake out. All 3 quarterbacks are expected to be involved in some manner. I'm sure that they are wanting to see these players in every possible situation (except Sparano did emphasize that there will be no hitting in terms of players going to the ground) to get a read on those that have a shot at making the roster. So, in essence this is "pre" preseason simulation as the Dolphins continue to work and prepare for their first preseason game against the Buccaneers on August 9th at Dolphin Stadium.
