Found August 11, 2008 on Black and Teal:
Team MVP: Part of me is still expecting to wake up at the Jaguars' 2007 opening game as I hear the name "Byyyyyyyron Leftwich!" over the speakers. It wouldn't be a bad season, but it would be a season of seeing Josh Scobee trot out to win us our games through field goals. David Garrard turned around our team. I don't see this year being any different and with new weapons in the backfield we may finally have a good chance at that Super Bowl run we've been craving....

Please try to hide your enthusiasm for the Indianapolis fans! LOL Yeah, can't believe Leftwich is a backup in Pittsburgh now! Go Jags! Good job!

So, is MJD going to screw over my fantasy team again if I draft him? Maurice Jones-IScrewed was his name in '07.

I hope he screws up some one's fantasy team because I wasn't able to get him in my draft.

ok, ok, ok, so your coach is waaaaayyyy better groomed than our's is, but really, you think he looks good in that suit? i'm just saying that nolan rocks it better than he does. he's got an awkward, broad body that makes him look uncomfortable in it. truth be told, i dislike both of them because they are billick products and that guy is a total creep.

and while we're at it, let's not kid ourselves, light blue AND teal are both pretty questionable team colors. geez, listen to me. i sound like mr. blackwell or something. maybe i'll try and get a guest judge spot on project runway...

Del Rio is a big guy and Nolan not so much. Maybe that just scares you.

Also, at least the Jags stand out when you flip through the channels and see a football game being played. There are way too many teams that have uniforms that are red or blue or some combination of the two. Just look at the Super Bowl last year!

I didn't either, at least yet, so I don't mind if he does, actually. I will say this; I only root for one team, but I do admire the hell out of the way the Jags play. I hope the Chiefs play like that a few years down the road. Gritty, ball-control team--that's football.

I'm a bad football fan and I definitely have a heirarchy of teams I root for over others. II secretly root for the Texans to win when they aren't playing us. The Saints are my adopted NFC team.

      I am a terribly fan. :(

no adam, that's how the titans play football. control the clock. control the line of scrimmage. control the game.

The Jaguars had an 11 minute drive last year! That is pretty much the epitome of controlling the clock.

Both teams played at Arrowhead, and I would have to say that I was honestly more impressed with the Jags. The Jags have a better passer and a more explosive offense, thanks to MJD. I do like the way the Titans play, though, just not quite as much.

7-5 against the jags since 2002. i bet we split it again this year.

Yeah. We're not so good against the AFC South which is why we haven't had any AFC South championships. We actually have a losing record against everyone in the AFC South, including the Texans.
