Look out Drew Henson! If Samardzija continues to suck bad enough over the next few years, people might stop picking on you and turn their attention to the former Notre Dame WR turned Cubs pitcher.
"The season hasn't fared much better for Samardzija since then. He's started 11 games thus far into the 2007 campaign, winning none. He's carrying 5.40 ERA, with a .333 opponents' batting average and 21 strikeouts through 55 innings."

Recently the Chicago Cubs have been doing much more to spark positive conversation. They have won 6 of their last 9 which isn't incredibly good but at least they are sticking around in the NL Central. With the Brewers losing 19 of their last 29 it seems that Chicago still has a very good chance to take over the division and possibly win it outright at the end of the season....

Man Pinella and Cuban, get a few drinks in them and then watch out. I can see it know Cuban running out onto the field to dispute balls and strikes. Seems like a match made in heaven.
Maybe Jeff Samardzjia should have played football
Looks like he's struggling, nothing like the Cubs over paying someone, that wouldn't be the first time
