I'm not a big Aaron Brooks fan, but you can't have a wide receiver pumping his fist after his quarterback gets sacked. Actually, Jerry Porter wasn't even active for last night's game against the Chargers making the situation even more awkward. He was caught laughing on the sidelines in street clothes after Brooks was sacked for the seventh time. Porter has squabbled with management thoughout training camp and he's been demoted from his starting spot opposite Randy Moss. Pissing off the guy who throws you the ball after already angering the people that write your checks is not the way you want to start a season. This won't help his fantasy value.
Who would have guessed Randy Moss would be the one keeping this team together.

Brett Favre acknowledged his anger over the team's unwillingness to pull off a trade for wide receiver Randy Moss, but denied Monday he ever really wanted the Green Bay Packers to trade him.

The eagles need a receiver and T.O. is a free agent next year. I believe that each party should shake off their differences and reunite, for one more run at the superbowl. With the New England Patriots highly unlikely to pay big money for anyone during free agency, quarterback Matt Cassel will most likely be the highest paid member of the team at $14.6 million. That's over double what Randy Moss makes ($6.4 million) and almost triple what the starter Tom Brady will make ($5 million). Amazing what one good season will do for you.
