The Jets Blog:
The Jets game inactives have been announced, and I’m sure some of you will be surprised by the names on the list.
WR David ClowneyLB Jamal WestermanQBs Kevin O’Connell & Erik AingeCBs Lito Sheppard & Donald Strickland (injury scratches)OL Matt SlausonDL Ropati Piotitua
Clowney hasn’t contributed much so far this season in the offense, and can struggle on specials due to his size. Seeing him inactive on a rainy day gameplan isn’t that much of a surprise. Jamal Westerman has had his moments, but the Jets needed to have as many DBs active today with Strickland and Sheppard out of commission.
As far as the Titans inactives, TE Bo Scaife is the biggest name. He is one of the team’s leading receivers, so his absence will be a big loss for the Titans today.

The Initial Assessment: Clash of the Attitudes
Whew! What a week it has been ladies and gentlemen. The Jets went in against the Patriots, talking trash and were able to back it up after a halftime surge. While the Patriots pretty much directed their loss at themselves, ultimately they knew the combination of screaming fans, a killer defense and a solid offense spelled their demise and with the W over the Patriots, the Jets will...
Sanchez tries to get a grip
Seems like Mark Sanchez had a few issues taking care of the ball. Did he have anything to say about that?Yes he did. The rookie quarterback fumbled twice and also was picked off once. His first fumble came on a second-quarter strip-sack on third-and-8 from the Titans' 36, and Tennessee 's Jevon Kearse recovered it. The other came later in the quarter on second-and-8 at the Titans...
