Are you kidding me? This was another one of those "How-did-they-lose?" games. Some quickie thoughts on Dolphins 30, Jets 25. 1. The Jets can run the ball, and they play good defense, and they make a play here and there in the passing game, but they never will be a complete team until they learn how to play complementary football. That means offense-defense-special teams. They can't seem to get all three humming at the same time. That's why the Jets are a .500 team. 2. Two weeks ago, the Jets ran for more yards (318) in a loss than any team in 65 years. Today, they allowed two kickoff-return touchdowns for the first time in franchise history. I mean, what are the odds? 3. The Dolphins' offense didn't go on the field for 12-plus minutes in the third quarter, and the team still scored 21 points.
