((HT: Tennessean/Kate Howard))The sister of Sahel Kazemi ((pictured, thanks Tennessean/family photo)) says she was a young woman who wanted to have fun and couldn't have hurt anyone - not herself, nor anyone else.Kazemi was actually the aunt of Sepideh Salmani, but they were raised as sisters. Salmani's mother adopted her when she was 9, after Kazemi's mother was killed in their native Iran. Salmani talked to her sister every day, and said she was very happy in her relationship with Steve McNair. She doesn't believe her sister killed McNair, or herself."She was one, young girl who had so many dreams that they never came true," Salmani said. "She would never kill anyone, ever. Or anything. Not even a little bug. I want people to know that."An autopsy has been ongoing this morning. A press conference is scheduled this afternoon to discuss the findings.Metro police have said that McNair was found sitting on the sofa, shot several times. Kazemi was lyi...

  • Unfortunatly, the family is always the last to know if there is something wrong with another family memeber. People with mental illness, or those who harbor homicidal/suicidal tendecies don't often show them to the outside. You often hear people saying, "I should've recognized the signs" but, there may have not been any. A person can seem perfectly normal, happy and you would never know. This is incrediably tragic. And everything the police are doing is pointing to murder/suicide.
  • My heart goes out to mcnair family, and other family, mainly her sister,I hope the police department does an ivestigation,on boyfriend and others--god bless!!
  • yeah there was a third person sahel's other personality. Looks like that messing around with a youngin got the old man smoked. guess that wouldnt happen had he been at home with his wife and kids.
  • What could he have done to deserve this? Did he say he wasn't leaving his wife or what? Just leave him, he wasn't worth this neither did he deserve it.
  • New reports ARE saying that the police are veering away from a murder/suicide, they are entertaining the idea that there was a third person involved. Either way, one of my favorite athletes of all time is dead and nothing is gonna change that. I hope they get to the truth so that his family can get closure. R.I.P. Steve. You will be missed.
  • The report also sd,he was going to divorce his wife in two weeks, the sister could be a suspect,I hate to say it,all specualtion, sister was envy and wanted more. Also wife, phillyfannz, you are right, should have been at home, and stop going to all those sports bars, looking for younger chicks---but he did nt deserve four, that was personal period!!!!rip Steve
  • I'm sure they will get to the bottom of it. If a gun was found beside the chick, that definitely leads to the murder-suicide theory, but until they do all of the investigating, anything is specualation at this point. The thing that wasn't speculation is that he was doing a 20-year old chick while he was still married and bankrolling her car and apartment.
  • Two important facts need to be remebered here folks. One how many females that are pissed enough to blow a lover away would shoot twice in head and chest, my guess is { especially as big as he was}, there
would have been bullet holes every where if she was the shooter, not buying it, Secondly her family said she purchased a gun,I would start with her father, uncles, brothers ect. Some men from the middle east think nothing of taking out a wife, sister, daughter, mother if they feel the have brought shame to the family. She was 22 and he much older, not of middle east decent and above all bedding down with a married man. I'm guessing that there was unhappy men in her family. If she really did purchase the gun, I hope she shared that info with a friend ,I would not just take the family's word for it.
  • It doesn't matter how big you are when a bullet hits you between the ears.
  • Freedom of Speech
First, it is a sad situation for both familes of the deceased. Some
athletes thinks they can sleep around and commit adultry and not get in trouble. He probably was meeting all her wants the money, cars, home, trips, sexual relations etc; and he got caught up. Mr. McNair should not have been cheating it is wrong.I hate it so much especially for his wife that did not know and his children.
No matter who you are or what profession you are in, if you comitt a sin,(lying, cheating, adultry, fornication, gossiping, stealing, etc); you will surely pay the price and I am not talking about with money.

I am waitng as well as others to hear the outcome of the investigation.
  • Well, the news is out that the girl bought a gun on Thursday, so it's looking more and more like she was the shooter.
