Broad St. Bias:

Jevon Kearse according to ESPN's Paul Kuharsky said that the Philadelphia Eagles will miss him this upcoming year and that get this , fans will be surprised by how well he plays. Seems like Jevon is finally motivated to play, guess all those millions of dollars the Eagles wasted on him wasn't enough to get his competitive juices flowing.
I tell you , there it nothing better then a delusional athlete. What exactly are the Birds going to be missing about you? All the positive motivation from the sidelines? Or how about all those "almost got there" sacks? Or as I call them , "Mike Mamula's." This guy can't be serious. Everybody in the league passed on him, and the Titans saw some extra dollar signs by bringing back a very popular ex-superstar. If Kearse gets more then 5 sacks this season it will be 5 too many.
Kearse went on to say the Eagles will be thinking, "Why the hell did we let that dude go?" Can't get much more bitter then that. I almost feel bad for the guy, oh wait, no I don't. Dude your a million dollar thief. Your entire career with the Birds was full of injuries and underachieving play, blaming the Birds for letting you go is ludicrous. Your lucky you don't have a REAL job or you'd of been let go a couple years ago. And there wouldn't of been another "employer" waiting to hand you a couple more million dollars. Just suit up for the Titans , play football, if that's what you call it still, and shut up. Keep your head low, and maybe nobody will realize how you've been stealing millions season after season. Evaluating the Eagles: Part VII
The strength of the 2008 Eagles was the secondary. Two Pro Bowlers and one more than deserving made the back four fun to watch. Let’s hand out some grades.

Eagles must be aggressive off field
It is one of Those Years for the Eagles, an off-season that is going to require
a bit more than business as usual from the front office - whether that means
Andy Reid in his guise as personnel czar or Jeff Lurie and Joe Banner from their
spots at the top of the organizational chart.
In previous Those Years, the Eagles went hard after free-agent tackle Jon
Runyan (that turned...

Almost a great year!
Regardless of how the year ended I still love my Eagles! I'm the only person in my office that like the Eagles....every freakin body else has a big love affair with the Steelers! Spare me! Pennsylvania team or not, sorry I was not cheering them on!
Even though the Cardinals beat my Eagles I really was hoping they'd win! It was ironic watching the Super Bowl. The...

Former Delaware State Hornet McBride Re-Signs With Philadelphia Eagles
I?m late on this news, but it came to my attention in the same week that the Delaware State Hornet athletic department is turning cartwheels over Roy Bright possibly signing with an Australian team. Blame Reid The GM
Are you tired of saying or hearing that McNabb has to play better for the Eagles to win?Did you ever stop to think that maybe McNabb is playing at his highest level and that there is no more to give? More Pomeroy Adjustments
Continuing with the analysis I used to compare Duke and North Carolina, I ran the same numbers for all the teams in Pomeroy's top 25. The full table is here, and here are some teams at the extremes (negative means overrated by Pomeroy):I wouldn't have expected to see UConn as the most overrated team, but there they are. Some of that gap can be explained by their impressive...
In response to this week’s Donovan McNabb non-story, I offer you a quiz
Cheers to Derek for admirably tackling the Donovan McNabb non-story yesterday (and if you’re not reading Igglesblog this week, you should be — TONS of great stuff over there, heavy on the charts) — this is yeoman’s work!
In lieu of actually engaging in said conversation, I’m going to offer an observation and a link. The [...]

Calling for 5 to end the speculation...
First it was Neon Dieon, now its Trott...People claiming they know McNabb wants out. What's the truth? Do you want to be in Philly or not? I know you said you did, and thats cool. But why are these guys claiming otherwise? If you don't want to be here then your best way out is to say it yourself. You may be under contract for 2 more years, but believe me they will find a...
