Kellen Winslow Could Be Out Next Year Too

I know it is a bit alarmist, but it has now come out that K2 had micro-fracture surgery. Here we thought he was getting scoped to clean up scar tissue, and now we come to find out that it was really micro-fracture. This is considerably more risky, and K2 could possibly join the ranks of Gary Baxter and LeCharles Bentley as more than doubtful for the upcoming season.

Not to mention, this puts his career in jeopardy as well. Not every football player returns from micro-fracture surgery. IE. Terrell Davis.

Terrell was a running back and I would think this type of surgery would effect a running back much more of an effect. Is this the same type of surgery Chris Webber had?

yea, same with kidd, stoudemire, and others

He'll be back. Like he said, he is a soldier.

he'll be back sure but he won't be effective. his game was built on his size and speed, and the 2nd factor has just been nixed significantly.
