Ravens Roost:
It was extremely hard for Kelly Gregg to sit and watch his team mates practice last season when he was sidelined with a knee injury that would require microsurgery to get him back to normal, which thankfully at this point he seems to be. Make no mistake, Justin Bannan had what might be the best season of his career last year, but he simply isn't as powerful or good in his technique to supplant Gregg as the teams best nose tackle. But, the playing time Bannan got last year should make him a better replacement to spell Gregg during games this season as he has become a better player himself. It's a win/win situation.
Head coach John Harbaugh hasn't had the pleasure of seeing Gregg play for the most part, so I'm sure he's watching him do his thing with his offensive opponents during training camp, and I...

Ogden: no regrets on retirement
There’s not one iota in Jonathan Ogden that still longs to play football. The former Ravens offensive tackle and certain Hall of Famer made that clear after the team’s practice this morning.
“Retirement’s a little different,” Ogden said. “It’s a little slower than when you’re out here working every day. I’m working on my golf game and preparing to do a little pre...
The heat of the moment for Figurs, Walker
A brief fight between cornerback Frank Walker and wide receiver Yamon Figurs spiced up this morning's workout. There was a head slap, a body slam, a couple missed punches and two huge rugby scrums.
No one got hurt and it was dismissed quickly as a case of hot tempers in sultry temperatures.

Ravens' Birk wraps his hands around Morton's 'two-fisted burger'
M att Birk is the new center for the Baltimore Ravens. He is a big man - 6 foot-4 and 309 pounds - working in a beefy world, so it is not surprising that a large, ground sirloin burger sandwiched between two slices of thick bacon is one of his favorite foods.
2009 Baltimore Ravens Schedule Analysis
The Ravens can be summed up with one word: defense.
Since they claimed their first and only Super Bowl title in the early 2000's, the Ravens have been heavily regarded as one of the most feared and aggressive defenses.
However, with no Super Bowl appearances since their win in 2001, the Ravens have continuously looked lost on offense, while constantly leaving a good defense...
