Deuce of Davenport -:
Patriots running back Kevin Faulk was issued a misdemeanor summons, not arrested, last friday for possession of 4 marijuana cigarettes in his pocket when he was searched going into the suites of the Lafayette Cajundome for a Lil Wayne concert. I hear ya Kev, if i was going to a Lil' Wayne show i'd sure want to be as blitzed out of my mind while sitting there, but son, you gotta protect your stash a little better than that!

Is Bill Belichick's dynasty* coming to an end?
Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan is neck-deep in Boston sports, and recently he suggested that Bill Belichick's lying and cheating may be enough to get him fired in New England. "There's a possibility that he won't be coaching next year because things keep tumbling out."
Moss and T.O.? Tthe Lockeroom Isn't Big Enough
The rumors are flying about a number of NFL stars during this period of time before the draft, but the biggest one has to be that Randy Moss could be in Dallas with T.O.! The presence of those two in the same lockeroom could be more than toxic, try nuclear. Tony Romo, consider yourself warned.
Moss Growing in New England
With the off-season in full effect, it is time to discuss those big-name superstars who are about to leave town to get the big bucks elsewhere. One big time player who won't be going anywhere is Randy Moss. This past season, we saw the much-maligned superstar turn into a team player and a Tom Brady favorite. Once again, he established himself as the best receiver in the game...

All signs point to this happening on Friday morning or night.

Pats Release Colvin, Questions Loom at Linebacker
Linebacker Rosevelt Colvin was cut by the Patriots earlier today. Does this mean they will re-sign Tedy Bruschi and Junior Seau, both of whom are free agents? Could we see more 4-3 formations from the Pats next year? These are just two of the questions surrounding the defense that Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli will face this off-season...
Pats to Drop Colvin
I think his injury was a very underrated part of the Pats inability to dominate defensively in the second half of the year, and now the Globe is reporting Rosevelt Colvin is getting dropped due to a $7.6 million cap charge (which I admit, is high).
We're going to miss him off the edge, when Vrabel and him were both going in the early part of the season the Pats were unstoppable...
Rams to get Super Bowl XXXVI overturned due to Spygate?
Peter King has hinted that the St. Louis Rams might try to get the Patriots SB XXXVII victory in New Orleans overturned. Based on what we know and the play-by-play report from the game, St. Louis is looking very whiny for even suggesting that the walkthrough-videotaping could have affected the outcome.
Randy Moss Has Deal Inplace With New England.
Randy Moss reportedly has a deal inplace with New England. They must wait until Friday 12:01am when the NFL new calendar year begins.
Bad news Eagles fans
Looks like Asante Samuel is headed to the Saints for 10 mil a year. If this is true i guess he cares more about money than winning......I for one am pissed as they might lose Lito. I guess the only upside to this is that this gives them more to spend on those offensive playmakers.
Calvin Pace going to the Patriots?
In a cap clearing move the Patriots release Roosevelt Colvin, clearing $7.6 million of room, probably enough to take a run at the Cardinals Calvin Pace. In this story the Cardinals Report on MVN shows why the Cardinals never learn and are always playing catch up while winners like the Patriots take their lunch money.
Why Field Goal Percentage is Meaningless
Redskins writer Greg Trippiedi wrote "A quick hypothetical question for all those Hog Heaven readers out there: you have a 35 yard Field Goal attempt in the closing seconds of the first half of a Week 17 game Redskins vs. Cowboys. You have on your roster supereverythingclutch Kicker Adam Vinatieri, and kickoff specialist Shaun Suisham on your active roster. Who do you want...
