As we look forward to week two of the 2009 season, I am excited to see how New England will play versus the Jets today.Monday night's game versus the Buffalo Bills has left more questions than answers on both sides of the ball and the one area to feel confident was the special teams play (an area of concern after losing the 2008 coach and captain) as it help the Patriots win.OffenseI am looking for the Patriots to improve the running game to help balance the attack against a strong Jets defensive front seven. I expect the Patriots running backs and tight end do stay in and do more blocking to protect Brady and then go out to set up the pass. The offensive line needs to improve. The line did ok in week one, but this week will be much harder. If the offensive line shows weakness and allows pressure to get to Brady, than other teams will continue with that plan against the Patriots each week. Rumor: Patriots Looking at Derrick Brooks
With linebacker Jerod Mayo sidelined indefinitely, the Patriots certainly need to add some depth at the linebacker position.

Foolish Thoughts: Wherefore art thou Patriots?
These Patriots are clearly not the same team that we expected to see back on the field with Brady’s return.
When New England traded Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders, it proved one thing: Bill Belichick will do anything for a first round draft pick. Draft picks are like crack to him. Belichick cannot refuse. If [...]
Seymour set tone early for Raiders' defense
KANSAS CITY, Mo. His signature moment as a Raider came on his sixth play as a Raider.
Richard Seymour, who joined the Oakland franchise 48 hours earlier, simply bull-rushed San Diego left tackle Marcus McNeill and knocked him on his heels as Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers dropped back to pass on first and 10 from the Oakland 21-yard line. Chargers left guard Kris Dielman...
