PFW also reported that head coach Mike Nolan let seventh-round pick Larry Grant know that he is a serious contender for the starting ILB "Ted" spot, next to star Patrick Willis. Grant figures to battle Jeff Ulbrich, Brandon Moore and Dontarrious Thomas for the right to start. Sounds like Grant is going to have to fight for his right to party in his rookie season.
