Latest on the Roy Williams-Reggie Brown trade rumor

I say lets throw in Reno with Reggie and its a deal. Seriously, the thoughts of Stallworth coming here with one year left on a contract scares me with Roy. You know he's going to be looking for big bucks, however they could tag him and keep him for two. I say, Winston Justice, Reggie Brown, and no draft picks for Roy. You know that line needs help. I heard Winston is a killer LT, just ask OSI (killer for your QB). This way they can focus on DB's, LT, and WR's. It works for me!

You don't need to get rid of any more players unless you have to. I think Brown and a 4th rounder for Williams is a good and fair deal for both teams. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to be on the Eagles and agree to a long-term deal with them if he's traded.

they should not do this. They should keep brown, he's going to be good, this season is going to be his breakout year. They should try to get roy williams, but not by trading Reggie Brown

The Eagles need a shake up. Brown has never proven himself as a #1 receiver. New targets is what we need. I want 2 strike fear in every teams punk ass hearts when they step on the battlefield wit da Eagles!

The Lions are a perfect example why you need to pour your money into lineman! Wide Receivers don't win games, lineman do! So why shouldn't your pay structure reflect that??????

Since you put it that way it does make sense. I thought this move wasnt likely and roy is what the eagles need a legit #1 wr and a big target in the red zone to go with LJ Smith and Curtis will be a solid #2 wr and then maybe draft a wr to be the 3 wideout. This would also be good because the eagles would get off the hook for given brown all that money.

would everyone stop hassling my boy winston Osi is one of the best de in all the nfl and it was his first start and the eagles didnt do him any justice (no pun intended) by not moving the te over to his side to help block.

It would be nice to get Williams without trading anyone, but if we have to... reggie brown is the guy. He is the ODD man out. Avant and Baskett will be studs TRUST ME!!! We would have a nice mix of receiver types. G LEW ?????? I guess he may stick for another year because he does know the offense in and out. Unless we can replace his experience in the offense I would say keep him. Curtis is nice and he can be moved around a lot if necessary. #1 - Roy Williams, #2 Curtis, 3-Avant, 4-Baskett, 5 G-Lew, Or if Stallworth comes back then bye bye G- LEW and then he and Curtis will have a nice Battle in Pre- Season, But I think the Salary #'s will not let that happen.

Agreed. You think they let Baskett wear #84 for no reason at all? He had a good rookie year, his sophomore year wasn't too impressive, but he's great at blocking down field and he contributes on special teams.

There's no question how talented he is. If he can stay away from strip clubs and stop slapping hos, I would want him on my team, but the Eagles aren't likely to go after a guy with character problems.

i agree keep baskett he has good size and speed. dont trade away Justice he wasnt the only tackle Osi made look foolish yeah Osi beat him for 6 sacks but Osi got 13 on the year not bad.

the eagles could trade mcnabb for any wr in the league and they probably wouldnt even make the playoffs how many teams made the playoffs this year with a qb with no starting experince which is what the eagles would have with Kolb. 0

I dont understand why they dont use Baskett in the red zone offense. The guy is 6'4 and was a high jumper in college. They dont use his strengths.....thats why hes a number 4 receiver.

I think it would be a mistake to trade Brown out of here for Williams. If Williams wants more than the front office wants to give him next year when his contract is up, we wont have anyone but Curtis.

Because even in a bad year, Brown still caught a lot of balls. Curtis would not of had as good of a year if Brown wasnt on the other side. Brown looks alot like Marvin Harrison if he could just get consistent quarterback play

there is no reason for detroit to make this deal. even if he's got only one year left why trade a very good player for a lousy one? makes no sense and won't happen
