TEAMS: Atlanta Falcons
PLAYERS: Michael Vick
Tony Kornheiser questioned team owner Arthur Blank about Michael Vick's possible return to the team in 2009. Of all the things I expected Blank to say "not eating fried chicken, and fries" was not on the list (in relation to vick staying in shape). I don't believe there was any malicious intent of course, but I laughed anyways?.

I knew someone was gonna post on this...I laughed too...But Blank seems like a pretty smart guy, I'm sure he meant nothing by it. That team needs an S-load of draft help.

I feel silly dissecting this, but hey what the heck: He did mention fries which is a major contributor to obesity among white people. That took away the racial aspect in my eyes. Now, if he had said fried chicken and watermelon.....

BTW, why am I white, but all my favorite foods are considered stereotypical towards other races? I think I'm getting me some KFC for lunch.

I know, I like grits and hot sauce, and I live in MA..does that mean that I was somehow spawned in the south and then transported up here?

Good point Jimmy...He probably would have been best off not mentioning food and just saying "Vick should watch his diet and his exercise while in the slammer." As Dave Chappelle said..."I didn't know I was genetically predisposed to liking chicken."

My dad used to point to his belt and say it was "a leather fence around a chicken graveyard."
