Leaping Lions: A New Logo in Detroit
In response to their 0-16 season the Detroit Lions have decided to have a new look for the franchise. After seeing how the Arizona Cardinals were able to turn things around with a new logo, the Lions have decided to follow suit. The 2009 Detroit Lions will take the field with this as their new logo:
But this wasn't the first choice of the head honchos in Motor City. Other logos were presented at Lion HQ that were ultimately turned down for one reason or another. I have been given access to these images.

NFL.com reports that the Eagles have the money to potentially trade for Boldin but don't want to trade the pick. The Ravens are one of the teams in the later first round that are willing to trade the pick and make the move for Boldin.
