The Lions reportedly claimed former Broncos cornerback Jack Williams off waivers on Monday and released cornerback Jason David. The Denver Post reported the Lions beat out three other teams - Cleveland, Indianapolis and Philadelphia - to claim Williams. The Broncos waived the 2008 fourth-round pick from Kent State on Saturday after they signed veteran cornerback Ty Law (Michigan). Williams, 24, is 5-feet-9 and 183 pounds. He has played nickel for the Broncos in 21 games over two seasons.

Broncos add CB Moulton to practice squad
