thats a horrible trade. Taylor is 33, hes worth a 5th round pick at this point, 4th at best. He'll be good one more year, and then hes out, this is supposing he doesnt even get hurt this year.

That was 2006...Shaun Alexander was the MVP in 2005...whats he worth NOW? Taylors been injury prone of late and hes old. He has a MAXIMUM 3 years left...you don't trade away a 1st or even a 2nd round pick for a rental player.

Taylor has never been injured in his career! He has played all 16 games the last 8 years! You know yesterday you said that he had only 2 seasons with 10+ sacks, when he has had 6 seasons with 11+ sacks, and now you say this. My guess is you don't even know who Jason Taylor is.

That being said, he missed many many snaps last year, just because the stats you're looking at says he was in all 16 games does not mean he was playing at full capacity. The fact that you didn't know that Taylor had more sacks than that, and had to rely on your computer excuse, shows your lack of knowledge of the NFL and who's the actual moron. If he was injured last year, and missed significant snaps, yet still produced 11 sacks I would have to say that that's pretty goddamn productive! Jason Taylor is the class of the NFL and his work ethic keeps his body in tremendous shape. I'm not saying I would tarde a 1st rounder for him but if I were in the Philadelphia front office I would consider trading a 3rd rounder. 4 IN 10 YEARS WOW

Well Reids had 9 drafts since 1999...of those 9 drafts he's had SIX excellent first rounders....I left off McNabb and Corey Simon earlier. 6 out of 8 is pretty damn remarkable in this league of uncertainty. Consider yourself proved wrong again.

we have 3 designated trade targets. all 3 have stupid FO's. it all depends on which one is the least stupid out of them. if arizona takes a corner. slim chance for Anquan. now detriot and cinci are different, we need to really blow them away to get OCHO or Roy. they have boneheaded FO's that dont realize that they have enough and Lito could help them greatly.

You never know Lets say the Lions or cards See that a player they want is available in the 2nd rd and they missed out on a player they wanted like AZ and a CB. are you really going to beat your chest about Dwayne Bowe over Calvin Johnson? They are wide receivers and one year is nothing in their development. Further, Bowe was the only target on his team while Johnson was at best the second, hurt for half of the season and that is understating it.

I dunno, in my opinion it is not good that Lito is being traded. Simply because there are no clear options ahead that would benefit the Eagles in his departure. We don't seem to have any WR deals in the mix, and he is a good athlete. I would rather we keep a quality player, as supposed to settling for his trade.

Lito is gone for 2 draft picks this weekend. Most likely a 2nd and 5th or 3rd and 4th. There won't be any players involved in the trade because teams want draft picks on draft weekend not players. Oh yea and Jason Taylor??? please. Why do we want him, so we can pay him a lot and have him blow it like Kearse did for us? Taylor is still a solid player yes, but not worth giving up a 1st round pick.
