Losing streak hasn't hurt Giant confidence

Last week Justin Tuck wondered whether the Giants have been suffering a little bit of a crisis of confidence. Well, I don’t think that’s really a problem anymore. “I think we still have the utmost confidence in ourselves,” defensive end Osi Umenyiora said on a conference call today. “Obviously that was a game we lost. But we should’ve won. I don’t think that did anything to dampen our confidence. We just have to find a way to win those games. But we still think we’re one of the best teams in the NFL. We just have to go out there and prove it from here on out.” Even linebacker Antonio Pierce added “This team is capable of winning a championship,” and neither he nor Umenyiora sounded like they were just hopeful.
