MEET KRIS WILSON

This article was written by a newspaper in Wilson's hometown of Lancaster Pa. I thought it gave a pretty good perspective about the path he has traveled and what he envisions for his future. It doesn't have a Philly sports "spin" on it which is another reason I liked it.

You know the drill guys...have fun reading about our newest bird

DTRIK19, I have a question for you...Do you think or is it even possiable to trade LJ Smith? I don't know how the Fran. Tag works with that...

haha funny you should mention that, I was just thinking the same thing. I know they can remove it from him, but that'd make a free agent. I have no idea what the rules for trades are though.

They can remove the tag if they wanted to. I still think that we should give LJ 1 more year and if he sucks and gets injured alot then let him go in free agency next year.

I was thinking about a trade package for Smith and Lito for that #1 WR! Just a thought cause it looks like we are stacked at TE...(just a thought)

Yea I had that same thought, I just don't know if the team technically has the rights of the player with the franchise tag. He can sign elsewhere, but that team would have to give us their draft pick...I have to think trading a franchised player would work the same way.

I thought the same thing as well, LJ is versatile and when healthy is a good tight end. Package him in with sheppard and a late round pick and i think that a #1 reciever would be gained. Now there are 4 tight ends so something has to happen. Did they bring him in just so they could cut Schoebel and then put Celleck at third string? Or is Wilson the new third string? I thought Celleck came along. Should be interesting to see how it pans out.

i thinkmit is good move bulk up the offense esp. in the TE position and he is versatile. and a hometown kid.

His versatility interests me, but if he was a lead blocker for LJ last year............doesn't say much for him. Eh, we'll see.

He's not a fullback, he never was until he got to KC. Gotta love his being open to change in order to help his team though!

Absolutely. Hey I'm open to anything. Especially if he's depth at TE!!
