the big buzz lately is Marvin Harrison. The Colts cut Marvin Harrison and Harrison will be a free agent. Yes, he's 36 and his production has declined after his knee injury, but a return to his hometown with his college quarterback is the feel-good story floating around and the Eagles need another WR to make McNabb happy. He's a cheaper option that Houshmandzadeh, so this may work out quite well. Here's some supplemental reading on Marvin Harrison/Eagles talk.

  • Marvin Harrison is washed up and didn't want to take a paycut trom his 9 million dollar a year salary. To add to that there are still "legal" questions surrounding him. The Eagles need to do better than a 36 year old reciever who has seen his best days already. Not to mention a gun "incident" that has yet to be cleared up. NEXT
  • I'm just saying to take him as a last resort if they miss out on getting Houshmandzadeh.

Brian Dawkins expected back with Eagles

The issue is over whether Dawkins can play with the same gusto and fire that has made him one of the league's best safeties over the past decade. At 35, he's most certainly on the back end of his career, and the drop-off for a player who not only inflicts pain but incurs it could be steep and sudden. Percy Harvin a Possibility?

If Percy Harvin is there at pick #21 should the eagles take the risk on him? Harvin has kind of taken a backseat at the combine with all the media about Michael Crabtree and his injury.
