Mason laughs at idea of single coverage

Derrick Mason vividly remembers the team's first meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals because it was only the second time in his five-year tenure with the Ravens that the wide receiver did not record a single catch. Cincinnati wisely rolled its coverage towards Mason, forcing quarterback Joe Flacco to look for other options. The Denver Broncos chose to cover Mason with one man, and he caught four passes for 40, including a 20-yard touchdown. "You can't cover me single coverage," Mason said earlier today. "You can't. It hasn't been done in 13 years, and it won't be done. But it is what it is. You try to take advantage of coverages and how they play you. But Cincinnati did a good job, a very good job, the first game at totally taking me out of the game.
