Redskins Insider:
I have to admit I was surprised by how smoothly the Redskins' new play-calling procedure seemed to run in the team's 27-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. I expected at least a few glitches because new play-caller Sherman Lewis still was unfamiliar with the personnel and terminology after fewer than three weeks on the job at that point, but the process -- Lewis called the plays from the coaches' box, offensive coordinator Sherman Smith received them on the sideline and relayed them to quarterback Jason Campbell -- was seamless. And then, when I glanced at the television in the press box occasionally in the second half, I figured out why. Offensive assistant Chris Meidt, the team's de facto quarterbacks coach, sat next to Lewis during the game. As I watched their interaction, it was obvious that Meidt was a huge help to Lewis, who came out of retirement after more

Campbell finds road games easier right now
If the bye week was exactly what this Redskins team needed last week, a road game might be the best way for the offense to begin this next stretch of the schedule. Or so says quarterback Jason Campbell. Speaking with reporters today, Campbell said at this point in the season, it's easier for the offense to operate on the road. "The reason you say that is because if there's a bad...
If Campbell Was The Saints QB They'd Be 4-4 At Best
I truly believe this statement. Right now, Jason Campbell simply lacks the mental intangibles to be a starting NFL QB. When you look at any successful NFL QB, they all know how to make calculated risks and take chances there will more than likely end well for them. This is something Campbell has...

RegressingWe have completed the rewatch of the Monday night game against the Eagles, I am completing the raw post, will go back and doll it up with links, this was an ugly game, it did not look any better on TV than it did in the stadium, except I did not have people getting arrested for fighting and signs being torn out of hands all around me.If no one can block for Jason Campbell...

*Redskins Head Coach Jim Zorn*
*On the injury situation:*
Eww-Line
I don't blame Zorn for the skins issues. This entire organization has a hard time letting go of players that are hurting more then helping! It's time to move on without several players, i.e., most of O-Line, Randel El, Portis, & Jason Campbell. I blame the 100 yr. old O-Line coach! He's a dinosaur...

That was not a surprise.Santana Moss discusses the owner feeling disappointed:"I think we all are. It's not a good feeling to be who we are and where we...

Redskins' passing game on ice
With his offensive line handling a four-man St. Louis Rams pass rush, Jason Campbell was able to survey the field to see whether any of his five receiving options had worked open. The protection sound, Campbell delivered a 24-yard strike down the left hash mark to Antwaan Randle El. Those types of plays aren't likely to be a regular part of the Washington Redskins' offense in the...
Monday morning, after the bye
It's time to say goodbye to the bye week and hello to the rest of the season, with just over half of the games on the Redskins' schedule still remaining to be played. Things are just beginning to get interesting in the NFC East, with the Giants plummeting like a stone, the unpredictable Eagles playing well and the Cowboys rising. The Redskins, who have played only two NFC East opponents...
Romo pretty effective this time of season
PHILADELPHIA - Josh Johnson in his second NFL start. Jake Delhomme at the start of his worst season ever. Eli Manning with a sore foot and no protection. Jason Campbell with no confidence. Matt Cassel with no weapons around him.
