He's not leaving in 2010, his daughters have spent half of their lives in Lubbock.......and they both go to school at TT. He's only interviewed for one job and that was Washington....and he only did that because TT didn't extend his contract at the beginning of the season. Plus, next year should be a down year for TT so he won't be on the top of the list of coaches to take over elite programs.

There will be plenty of interest in Leach once he decides to tell the stupid Tech FO to get lost. He should have gone ahead and left this year, but the top 2-3 jobs were already taken.

Yeah Amusedam, ill bet he cares where his daughters go to school, when your talking a million bucks a year raise, If he doesnt get outta Lubbock soon his stock is gonna crash

Auburn Hires Coach Mediocrity
It appears that Tommy Tuberville resigned from Auburn after some high ranking officials gauged the interest of Bobby Petrino and Mike Leach a few weeks ago. Oh how big of a mistake that has turned out to be. Auburn has found Tubberville's replacement and it does not looking promising. Gene Chizik, the mediocre Iowa State head coach will be taking over at Auburn.
Crabtree: And There's More ?
It appears that although Michael Crabtree
will not work out at the NFL Combine, he WILL be the player making the
most headlines until the draft. Yet more news about the receiver from
Texas Tech has been released, most of which contradicts what I wrote in
my last post.
The latest: Crabtree will run for scouts before the draft. I previously posted that he would...

Munchkin Linebacker Smaller At Combine Than Listed College Height
When Michael Crabtree showed up at the Combine to get measured, he checked in at 2 full inches under his listed 6' 3" at Texas Tech. Scouts were somewhat stunned at such a gross mismeasurement. But the most amazing shocker of the Combine came when linebacker Beezleknees Gum Gum measured over 3 feet smaller than his listed 6' 5" at Emerald City College, completely scrambling everyone...
Losing Leach
Defeating the number #1 team in the nation in the fifth most watched regular season game in history to advance to a #2 national ranking, and finishing the season with a share of a division title are accomplishments that almost any college football program would love to have. Most programs would likely do anything to keep the man that lead them there; however, Texas Tech is on the...

Texas Tech Pities The Fool
If you caught Monday's College Football Live on ESPN, then you saw Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell rocking the mohawk. The 'do, as most ill-advised cuts so ofter are, was a show of unity between Harrell and his offensive line. The basic message being: Yes, I will look like an ass along with you, so please don't let me get sacked.
Unity is good. So good that Queen...
