Mocking Bird

Sticking it in the face of his former wide receiver pain in the rear, Donovan McNabb mocked the famous Terrell Owens "standing on the star" celebration.I laughed historically when I saw this live, but the picture is even better. This is going down as a classic Five memory.Owens actually started the trend of mocking celebrations. Back in 2004 he mocked Baltimore Raven Ray Lewis's pre-game dance. A move that caught headlines, and seemed to ruffle a few feathers.

"I laughed historically"

I think you mean hysterically. To use the word "historically" in a sentence, it would be something like this: Historically, Philadelphia is a racist city that runs African American athletes out of town. I laughed hysterically when someone said that McNabb would be the exception to that rule. See? Glad I could help.

It's not like he just came in and just whipped us down. Now, the one in Philly was a beat-down. I'll give him his props. He won. But, it's not like the Cowboys didn't have several chances to win the game. I knew it was going to be a lot closer than the spread indicated.

I've been laughing "historically", too. Like winning 16 NFC East titles since 1970. LOL

wow...you are such a toolbox. this is football talk, not an english composition. your greatest retort is correcting peoples grammatical errors. "see? gald i could help. ugh! i just wanna punch the shit out of that stupid van halen icon.

See if this is grammatically correct. YOU ARE OUT OF THE *&$%_%$ playoffs. Get over it.

I'm going to say this one more time. Talking tough on the Internet does not make you a hard-ass. So, if it makes you feel better, print out my "stupid Van Halen icon" and punch it until you're satisfied. You couldn't kick half the ass of anyone here, if the other half was helping you, so just stick to what you know (whatever the hell that is).

I've obviously pissed you off, which is hilarious being that I never understood how someone could get pissed off at a sports post. Get a life, you loser. There's a whole world out there. Put some Van Halen on, because, as you know, I think they kick ass (unlike you, who couldn't lick a stamp).

I gotta run. "Ain't talkin' 'bout love" just came on the radio. I love that song!

See? Glad I could help.

You are so loved in the yard. You might have to change the screen name to Linebacker-51.

Historically, Philadelphia is a racist city that runs African American athletes out of town. I

WHAT?????????????? the hell is that for & that is not true.......... WTF!!!!!!!! STFU

what a tired article...beat to death

Older and dryer than Joe Gibbs.

that's good...real nice....and CK? I ran out of exclamation points and question marks....may I borrow some? thanks

this article is older and drier than King Tut...awful

iggle36 might mean it was the biggest/longest laugh of his life.
When I sai it I figured McNabb was thanking God that he was having a good game and wouldn't have to listen to Philly talk radio next week talking about how he needs a change aof scenery, which I think would be good for both the Eagles and McNabb.

The thing is, McNabb DIDN'T have a good game. The Eagles defense was fantastic, Romo was horrible, and the Eagles won by scoring 10 points. McNabb is doing nothing offensively.

Whaaa waaa waaa, Romo has a horrible game against the Bills, but still wins and everyone talks about how great he was. Now they loose to a losing Eagles team at home and no one wants to own up. Romo is the one who did nothing offensively as the Cows didn't score a TD. The one TD the Eagles did score was a result of Donovan keeping plays alive with his legs, which is what everyone had been saying he could no longer do all season. He came out got the win and that is all that matters right now, scoreboard:
Eagles 10
Dallas 6

Dude, I'm not debating the game. Philly won. Pussies make excuses, not me. What I'm saying is that Donovan McNabb, who the vast majority of Eagles fans never truly accepted (more than likely because of what he looks like) is moving on after this season. So, do your fan-boy thing by typing in the final score of a meaningless game. That's fine. Every team wins some and loses some. But in this argument you look stupid, being as, during the Super Bowl era, the Eagles have done a whole lot of nothing.

Super Bowl Rings: Dallas 5, Philadelphia 0.

I mean, seriously, do you really wanna go down this road?

Doesn't look quite as bad as 38-17 though, does it? And, if I am reading the standings right, aren't you guys still 6-8 amd still on bottom of the NFC East. Yes, the defense played a good game and Romo was lousy. I expected the Eagles to come out with fire because their backs were to the wall. No win, no playoffs. Congratulations. And, I hope you do make the playoffs and have to come back here. Should be interesting.

Such a scary picture you've painted lol. Live in the past all you want. The last time Dallas won a Super Bowl I was in grade school and didn't care then, don't care now. If I wanted to live in the past I'd remember sweeping them last season or the multiple beat downs Mcnabb has served that franchise during his career. 14 seconds comes to mind. More than that, I've seen enough to be sure this years Cowgirls won't be winning any Super Bowl this year, and frankly would be lucky to get the opportunity to loose to the Patriots. You can go ahead and buy into the medias version that most Eagles fans think this or that, but assuming a group thinks something one way or another is as ignorant as the racist Mcnabb haters you assume is the majority. Majority of the Philadelphia fans I know have always supported Mcnabb because he has won more games than any other Eagles QB. While this season wasn't the best for the Eagles, at the end of the day, the Dallas team and fans got the humbling they deserved. Happy Holidays and enjoy the highlights this week.

Ummm, who's living in the past? PRESENTLY, Dallas is 12-2 and the NFC East Champions. PRESENTLY, the Eagles are below .500. PRESENTLY, Donovan McNabb is being run out of town. PRESENTLY, Andy Reid will be spending Christmas in the visitation room at some prison talking to his kids via telephone with glass separating them. And the Cowboys may or may not make some noise in the PRESENT playoffs, but they are there, and the Eagles won't be (they probably would be if Jeff Garcia were still an Eagle, but that's another story).

I'll say this, if the Cowboys get a chance to lose to the Patriots (or "loose" to the Patriots, as you so eloquently wrote), they won't lose due to Romo being too winded during the final drive. Again, the Cowboys, historically and PRESENTLY, have more everything (divisions, NFC titles, Super Bowls, head-to-head wins) than the Eagles. But you won the most recent regular season game! Kudos!

It's not like I'm talking shit. I don't own the Cowboys, and my paycheck stays the same regardless of what they do on the field, so it really doesn't matter. It's all nonsense that helps us escape the rigors of everyday life, anyway. That said, enjoy the final two weeks of the 2007 season. To paraphrase Terrell Owens (who's a douche bag, by the way), "Get your golf clubs ready!"

wouldn't even go there Rapture...you are 6-8 and we in NE, consider Dallas to be the team "we will" face if we make it ourselves...congrats on a great Eagle win, but I'll take Dallas 9 of 10 times anyday

HA u go phillyrapture!!!!! PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!

Technically the score should've been 17-10 because of the late could've-been towndown run late in the fourth quarter. Just accept it that we out played you last week. Your QB was thinking with the wrong head last Sunday and our secondary shutdown you receivers. You and the rest of your Cowboy buddies are upset because you paid a couple hundred dollars to watch the Cowboys get beat.

Oh, the sun came up the next morning and nobody died. I don't think it will be the end of the world. At least the sun went down on the Eagles Monday night. Made it feel a little better. Life goes on.

he is right i made a spelling error. i should have proof read it better. mcnabb may have not been great, but he outplayed romo. this was also just hysterical that he mocked TO.

Yeah......23 of 41 for 208 yards and 4 sacks. Banner day!!! Romo actually had more yards on less completions. Somehow though, I think T.O. is going to get the last laugh as McNabb watches him in the playoffs and then bolts out of Philly like a bolt of lightning.

Great celebration!!!

How mad do you think that made TO? Did he make any comments after the game?

I'll bet you it made him as mad as a mouse with all the cheese he can eat. Honestly how mad can you get when a guy mocks you. Especially when that guy went to a superbowl ONCE with you on his team, and is gonna be sitting at home watching you play in the playoffs. How upset would you be?

He's the reason y'all went to that Super Bowl.....or at least a big part of it.

I don't know..I think it would piss me off, but then again I have a bad temper..we know TO isn't like that (insert sarcasm) ;) Donvan at one time was friends with TO. I remember TO mentioning there was no bad blood between them. Perhaps that was just on his side.

Might need to stop mocking and start figuring out how he is going to win more than 6 games this season and next. He can mock when he makes his next Super Bowl.

Very good Donovan, He can do that while he is on His couch during the post season... or even better at the BestBuy He buys his TV from to watch the playoffs in. Stand on the BestBuy insignia and pose his @$$ off... as for T.O he'll be playing football

Yes, he will be watching T.O. in the playoffs. They do still have to go down to the dome to play a surging N.O. team in a place where it is hard to win. Buffalo may not be an easy win at home either. They have an outside shot.

No better chance then the redskins who are a game up. I'd say a very outside shot.

oh yeah, don't forget about the giants... and those are just teams in the eagles division with a better record in the NFC.

Just like poor Barbaro................................

He has one decent game and he's now a saint. Next week, they'll be calling for his head again. The life of an NFL QB.

yikes.

you are disgusting..when was your super bowl appearence? also they gave barbaro 8 months to get better they did not give up so easy as so many do

Well, if I remember right, we won OUR last Super Bowl appearance. Did you?

no due to ne seeming to know our game plan we didn't..when was your last nfc championships???

shoot...we knew the gameplan...hmmm, did they catch the guy?...not being provocative, but wouldn't you say after spygate, Goodell and his crew pretty much ended that...I would say good coaching won that game...and yeah, premature for barking...but the cheats thing is obviously just not a fact anymore...pretty talented/well-coached squad, NE is...objective

i was talking about the super bowl past not this year..

yeah, we had cameras everywhere against Carolina, ST. Louis (Ty Law) and Philly on those nuetral sites...sigh...maybe you would have got justice if MCnabb didn't quit...but I believe it was calmness, execution, balls, a younger team and coaching that got the 3 for us...I'll give you that tuck rule gray area game though...was a rule that year though...sorry

Might be this year, wolfgirl. Stay tuned and don't bark too soon.

dude ur a douche

to the shit who made that picture, up above.......was my comment directed at.......WTF
STFU!

Shoot, I thought that pic kind of fit in with the Philly mantra. Kill or be killed. Just kidding. It is in kind of poor taste, but that's life in the yard.

what a complete ruthless jerk. You have to be a cowboy fan because they are so ignorant

i hate fans. i play division one football and honestly, the players hate the fans as a whole. all kinds of bitching and complaining after a bad game and then they're your best friends after you play well. it's all bull shit and you people are the reason that the game is in the state that it is today

wow, I don't think that is true. Fans are the reason these atheletes are making any money. You wouldn't know anything about that being at division one and everything. You sound like some highschool idiot. I remember when I was in highschool and I was a cheerleader..all the jocks hated the cheerleaders. That never made much sense to me, but thats ok, because they got fat and ugly and I am still cute! ;)
