Last year, the immortal Brian Griese, Cedric Benson, Brian Berrian and Moose Muhammad went 90 yards in the last two minutes to win on the road in Philadelphia. The loss was in the early season, and while mind-blowingly frustrating, didn't seem like it was a make-or-break game for the Eagles season.Eventually, they missed the playoffs by a game (letting the Giants in), and well, the Bears game might have been the difference. This isn't to say that last night's teeth-grating loss in Chicago will be the difference between the Birds and the post-season; there is, after all, 12 games left to play, and the schedule still seems relatively palatable. Win next week against Washington at home, and then in San Francisco, and you're sitting at 4-2 at the bye. One suspects that if they get to that point, they might not even be in last place in the division anymore, though it's hard to say. Last night's loss was the first time an NFC East team lost outside of its division this year. Here are five m...

Lito is not a happy camper

For much of the off-season, many fans assumed that the Eagles were going to trade cornerback Lito Sheppard, since they already had Sheldon Brown and spent big money to acquire Asante Samuel. The trade never came, though, and all three cornerbacks are on the team, with Brown and Samuel starting and Sheppard coming in as the nickel back. Sheppard isn't happy about that.

Eagles look far from steller......

I don't understand what can happen in between games that makes players break down... Jackson Fumbles a punt, bringing back horrific J.R. Reed memories, and what the heck is up with our defense?? I don't have answers but hope we can turn it around the next half to grab ourselves a much needed victory..

Eagles CB Lito Sheppard Continues To Gripe About His Role

In an appearance on ComcastA's Monday Night Live, Sheppard wondered allowed why he doesnA't get more playing time: A"If you say you want to win and do...

DeSean: 3 Games, 3 Bonehead Plays

I'm not hear to rip on DeSean, because that kid is an absolute talent and is a HUGE threat any time he touches the ball, and is the one who can finally shut everyone up about needing a number 1 WR, but he has to stop with these mistakes. I know he's a rookie, and i know hes going to make mistakes...but hes made 3 mistakes that should NOT be made, rookie or not. Dropping the ball...

Separated at Birth: The Predator

Not only does Devin Hester have a girl's name, but he's ugly as sin too.

Was It Andy Reid's Arrogance, Or His Ignorance....

Andy Reid lost the Eagles game this past Sunday. This is a statement of fact. How he lost it though, is up for debate. Let's delve shall we? First off, if he thought that DMac was too injured to run a QB sneak during the game(as he has suggested), I think "Sir Andy" should have been prepared for this. Now, maybe this is a stretch but, work with me on this one. If I am Andy Reid,...

Eagles: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Harv is MIA so I've got both the O and D this week. I suspect he has elected to hide under his bed until Westbrook starts playing again. The D pulled off a wallstreet bailout with a solid plan and then the offense summarily voted it down with some unenthusiastic efforts. THE O GOOD a?" [...]

Eagles Game Review

It was a heavy weight fight in soldier field, both opposing defenses dominated on the field. Donovan Mcnabb came in for his homecoming the same place where he won his high school championship a long time ago. Unfortunatley this time around Mcnabb and the offense had a tough time capitalizing on golden oppertunities created by the Eagles defense and in particular they had the game...

Andy Reid...This is your team

Take a close look at what happened in Chicago. Your recievers let you down, again. a lot of missed blocking assignments, Inconsistant play from the running back spot. Your Qb is in his 10th year and is not as mobil as he used to be. When your star running back goes out, you really have no other real go to guy (yes D. Jackson is a player, but hes only 4 games into his career). Ok...

9 Players OUT for Todays Games, Including Brian Westbrook & Carson Palmer

Brian Westbrook RB PHI: Westbrook is going to be a game time decision, but sources tell me that the gameplan is going to be built the same way whether he plays or not. If Westbrook plays, he'll get a few carries, but they're more focused on getting him in space where he doesnt have to make as many cuts and won't have 300 pound men falling on him. And that's a big "if." Correll Buckhalter...

Eagles RB Brian Westbrook Ruled Out Vs Bears

Eagles RB Brian Westbrook is inactive and will not play tonight against Chicago. Correll Buckhalter will see the majority of carries in his absence....
