Now everyone complains that we need WR's and I'm one of the main ones with this sreaming it at the top of my lungs. But unlike many people I'm not going to say Reid doesnt address the WR position, because he does, but he's just bad at it. The problem is the people he drafts at that position sucked well I'm not even really going to say that, because who knows if Mitchell had a good WR coach that knew how to develop that talent he might have lasted. But anyway some of the problems are is that Reid brings in people that dont fit the system, lets forget about Mitchell and Stinkston for a min. Examples
Michael Gasperson,
Bill Sampy, and for two seasons J.J. Outlaw, names sound familiar? Yeah they should being as though they've been signed to the PS for the last three years, and havent seen any playing time with the exception of the lil 5 mins of fame Gasperson had in the N.O. game but fucked it up.
Bill Sampy havent seen shit from him, and well Outlaw now plays for the Philadelphia Soul.
That's the problem AR has he drafts people that dont fit the system or for some reason cant grasp the playbook in order to get some playing time. Not to mention I dont know what the hell is wrong with the WR coach well I do know...... he cant coach obviously ,if he cant develop rookies into quality players, if you come from another team and you go to the Eagles you're cool, but if you're a rookie there's no hope for you. And you know I'm right Mitchell, and Pinkston no longer in the NFL, McMullen just started to see playing time with the Vikings after two years of riding pine in Philly. So what does that say? To me a lot, either he needs to hire a new WR coach, simplify the playbook, or to me the most important one is give up his GM position. This is my take on our WR situation if you guys think I'm wrong please let me know. Other than that I think I'm on point, its not that Reid doesnt draft or bring in WR's it's that he aint good at it, and they dont fit the Eagles version of the WCO.
