How come he was not named to the All Americqn Acadamic Football team? Seems to me that somebody missed the boat.

I know all of you hyper-aware, plugged in Frumpsters know by now, but Myron Rolle, Florida State's starting SS, was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship this past Saturday. Well done; you certainly have my respect and admiration. More praise after the jump. Well, hell; I don't know what else I can say. This dude won the f#cking Rhodes Scholarship. He's the most celebrated student-athlete to do so since Bill Bradley. He was basically done with his undergraduate curriculum before his third year of football. Oh yea, he studied at Oxford this past summer. Pretty beasty. He was also a 5-star safety and the #1 recruit out of high school.
My guess is he will take the Tiki route. He'll play 7 years in the NFL and then go to medical school. He will discover the cure for cancer, become insanely rich and run for President. Only the short stint in the NFL applies to Tiki, obviously. Yea, that about covers it, I think.
