Eagles interested in DE Chris Clemons/ Close to a deal?

WIP is reporting this morning that the Eagles are interested in Radiers' DE Chris Clemons. Clemons is a former linebacker that converted to DE and played as a situational pass rusher for the Raiders last year. He registered an impressive 8 sacks. At only 26 years old, coming off a productive year Clemons would make a lot of sense for the Eagles. He'd come cheap and would work in the rotation on pass rushing downs(he's only 240lbs). He also wouldn't get in the way of Victor Abiamiri. Definitely an "out of the blue" name.

ESPN called him an under the radar free agent.
Clemons has 13 career sacks in 3 NFL seasons.
