Never forget

The terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, will never be forgotten. So many innocent lives where taken that day. Don't let this day pass by without taken a moment to think about our country and what we all have been affected by.

Thank you Cletis, this is exactly what the people on this site need right now. Sports is a great escape, and many of us use this site to try to remove ourselves from the grind of work and... life. But I love seeing how in a place where you would normally try to entertain us, you have taken it upon yourself to remind us of the serious, horrible situation that started on September 11th, 2001, and hasn't gotten any better six years later.

Yeah, I felt like this subject needed to be address. Sometimes people forget.

Did the Chargers have anything planned today in honor of those who lost their lives on September 11?

When we played the Bears Sunday, we dedicated that day to our troops, our country, and to all the people who lost their lives. Im sure the pregame was very emotional for a lot people. Pregame sent chills down my spine when LT ran out of the tunnel with US Flag and the Jets flew over the stadium

Thanks you so much Mr. Gordon for taking time to remind us of those things that we should never forget. The truth is just because it has been years families are still trying to fill voids and understand how in one moment their whole lives changed. We must never take for granted those who mean so much to us because at any one moment God can take us away. We must continue to pray for those who lost loved ones during that time as well as our nation's leaders that they may make the most wise decisions regarding our lives. It is imperative to Understand that "Together we Stand and Divided we Fall" But United are we in prayer!!! I really appreciate the Chargers and their dedication to remembering Troops, our country, those who lost their lives, and the families of those who lost their lives!!! All I can say now is that my prayer for us all is that we will "abide in His safety... The Safety of the LOrd" Be blessed Mr. Gordon!

I really appreciate what you said Cletis. It's amazing how many people want to

We had our flag raised at half staff yesterday, and we all went out during our break for a moment of silence. This is standard practice at our organization. I don't think I will ever forget that day when it happened. I don't live in NY, but seven people that grew up in our area actually died in the attack. It was a devastating event that will haunt many US citizens for the rest of this decade. I don't think the war will quench that fear even when (IF!) it is over.
