Mustachioed former NFL head coach Dave Wannstedt couldn't prevent his #25 Pittsburgh Panthers from being upset by Bowling Green at home. Despite picking up 393 yards to Bowling Green's 254, Pittsburgh just couldn't hold on to the ball long enough to do anything with it, as Pitt committed four turnovers (1 INT, 3 fumbles). Bowling Green was much better handling the ball, with 1 interception as their only blemish. So what does this mean for Pittsburgh football - will they be able...

Wonder if the mustache could have caught some of those balls at the end

Four turnovers, even against an inferior team, often times gets this sort of result. That will deal a blow to any type of promising season for the Panthers.

he doesn't deserve a mustache like that. he fails.

Give him a break - If he has a couple more loses like that, the mustache may be all he has left!

Do you know the reason he wears the stache is he has a severe scar on one side. You can tell it is uneven if you look for it.

Yes, he does. Noticed that when he coached the defense here in Dallas.

The mustache may be able to cover a scar, but it can't cover a wide receiver

No kidding. I didn't see it, but I think Pitt was up by 14, weren't they? That should make DTRIK real happy.

Thankfully I didn't watch the game as I was too busy moving. Theres no excuse for losing to lowly BG. How can a guy have so many consecutive top 15 recruiting classes and lose to such a shitty team? I'd fire him today. Walt Harris would be an improvement at this point.

I didnt see the game either...does anyone know how "shady" Mccoy performed?? I dunno why the game wasnt on down here. I see this being a trend this season with Comcast and putting on games from the midwest over games people from the area are actually interested in seeing. Well actually comcast says that its not theyre doing but the fault of the NCAA and that there basically told even be it at literally the last minute, what they can and cant air. My cable bill is through the roof already, and I dont really have one college team I like to see do well, I pretty much enjoy all the local schools and like watching them play so Im not gonna go spend the $$ on the college football package.

yeah I dont follow college as much but I was watching College Gameday and the younger of the host said that he was expecting Pitt's hopes of a big year to be crushed already.... damned if he wasn't correct.
Glad to see my Penn State is off to a good start

JoePa may have a rocking year up there in Happy Valley. We'll find out in a couple of games whether they are for real. Damn good start though.

He's running neck-and-neck with Bobby Bowden on those wins. I guess the first one to die first loses.

Mustaches have been failing for weeks. Ask Giambi as well. Tough time for lip hairs.

I'm sure ARod will start to grow a stache soon enough.
  • Why do you think BG scheduled Pitt. Over rated program, falsely imagined as upward bound- and a sure WIN for BG
