Mississippi State head coach John Cohen picked up his second commitment for the spring signing period on Thursday morning. Blinn Community College sophomore Jonathan Ogden committed to the Bulldogs. If Ogden signs in the spring period, the shortstop would be the second Blinn CC product to ink with State's Class of 2009.

I haven't lived in Baltimore long enough to know the impact of former Baltimore Colts offensive guard Ken Huff. For real, I don't know any offensive guards that preceded Jonathan Ogden in Baltimore. But what I do know is that Huff is 55 years old, and he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in February.

I was participating in a Fansided Network Mock Draft today and had to make a tough decision. When you think about the short history of the Baltimore Ravens, and weigh that against the long-standing relationship the City of Baltimore has with professional football, it's reasonable to say that this season means everything to the direction and future of this franchise.
That's not to say that the Ravens should or could go to the Super Bowl, but they shouldn't be far...
