If you missed last night's opening preseason game, here are some highlights. DeSean Jackson really impressed in his debut. He had 5 receptions for 51 yards and one spectacular catch from McNabb, which you can see in the highlight package. Steelers won 16-10.

Where you saddened by the Eagles 16-10 preseason lost? Don't be! That's what preseason is for, evaluation. I saw some good signs in that game. My boy DeSean Jackson showed me he might be the missing weapon Donovan McNabb has been looking for. Also Stew Bradley looked good at middle line backer for the first time.
A lot of fans feel as though coach Andy Reids' time...

Now that the Eagles and Brian Westbrook have come to terms on a restructured contract, is it possible that the perception of the Birds front office being cheap can finally be put to rest? Maybe this is just an unusual circumstance, but you have to give Todd France and Joe Banner their props for getting this done prior to the season.

Pro Bowl RG Shawn Andrews (depression) has been medically cleared to report to Eagles training camp.
Andrews will be at the Nova Care facility Friday and start practicing shortly. It remains to be seen what sort of shape he's in, but Andrews has just under a month to cut weight if needed. His return is good for Brian Westbrook.

The biggest question revolving around this Eagles team in training camp was, can this team translate the speed and intensity from training camp to a game? Now of course the game does not count but, it was great to see the young players use what they were taught in camp. The defense took the field first, and gave up a quick score but the unit quickly adjusted and held the steelers...

I dont know about you fellow barkers but I was getting sick and tired of hearing every radio and tv station talking about Farve. After listening to his press conferance it seemed like to me that he had a voice in the back of his head saying "what have I gotten myself into"
