New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison has been for the first 4 games for admitting to using HGH. The Patriots could give him another suspension later. Harrison is known as one of the dirtiest players in the league and this will not help his reputation.

Although the cuts have been made, the New England Patriots' roster is not yet complete.
After submitting their roster cuts earlier today, the Patriots have 51 active players, plus two players, Asante Samuel (contract) and Rodney Harrison (suspension), who do not count towards the roster.

Veteran pro-bowl defensive end Richard Seymour will begin the season on the reserve/PUP list. Seymour is still recovering from offseason knee surgery.

This kind of shocks me. Rodney Harrison has admitted to the feds that he used HGH, or human growth hormone. An NFL source has said he weill likely be banned for 4 games for violating the drug policy.

Childress' career is similar to that of wide receiver Troy Brown, in that Brown's career also started by being cut before the season and brought back at various times during the beginning of his career.

The Pats 2006 4th round selection Garrett Mills has been picked up by the Minnesota Vikings and will be a part of their 53-man roster. Mills was on IR in 2006 and although did not perform extremely well as a TE or H-Back did a great job as lead blocker for the running backs. Mills would have been a good addition to the Practice Squad.
