The 2007 Eagles defense was a top-10 unit. The offseason additions of Asante Samuel and Chris Clemons should only improve the defense's ranking. The 2007 defense that was very good could be dominant in 2008. The defensive line boasts two young, promising tackles in Bunkley and Patterson.     the linebackers will be huge for us. the end of the year showed us that they are ready. Gaither brings alot of game experience from playing alot in his rookie year. Bradley showed he can make plays, he made plays against a saints team with a very good offense. Gocong showe din the pats game he is very versitile and can play in joker situations. i feel this is the best set of linebackers we have had in years. this defense can be down right scary for opposing offenses go birds!!!!

    these young guys are gonna bring it this year... no studs.. but solid guys that can make plays... perfect for jim johnsons "D"... Im just glad to see TKO gone...

    Young is a good thing. Keep in mind the coaching staff has evaluated their linebacking corps, and they made tough decisions based on ability and upside. If the group is young that is only because the eagles did their job during the last couple drafts.

    Young talent brings fierce competition, however I notice that the younger ones get more false start and offsides calls.
