  I'm torn on this one. I mean, isn't SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE LEG really punishment enough? Honestly, if that doesn't teach him a lesson, then I'm pretty sure that nothing will.

    I think the DA is out to get some brownie points for himself with all of the publicity on this one. Yes, it was a stupid move by Burress, but shooting yourself should be punishment enough. It's not like he tried to use the gun on someone else. Get over it already and move on in NYC>
