TEAMS: Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins
Offense: Antwaan Randle El
5 receptions, 162 yards
Yes, Clinton Portis made his return. Yes, he scored a touchdown. Yes, he came two yards shy of a 100-yard rushing performance. But Randle El put the offense in position for players like Portis to score and make plays. On his first reception (35 yards), Randle El made a nice adjustment while the ball was in midair to make the catch. He put on the best receiving performance of his career and nearly put the game to an end as time expired. With no time remaining, he caught a Hail Mary that was batted down by the Dolphins defense but was stopped just two yards short of the endzone. After just one game, he now has nearly half of his yardage total from last season.
Defense: Rocky McIntosh
12 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble
The defense has improved immensely with the addition of middle linebacker London Fletcher and the main beneficiary may just be second year up-and-comer Rocky McIntosh. The...

The Fifth Quarter - Miami Dolphins
Shaun Suisham made a clutch kick in overtime that capped an ugly win by the Washington Redskins over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Ugly or not, however, the Redskins sit at 1–0, and if they continue to put away winnable games like they did yesterday, no one will complain – even if it isn't pretty.
On to the Fifth Quarter rankings, which are based on a scale of 1 to 5...

Remember the five-game streak at the end of 2005 that carried the Redskins into the playoffs? I think Washington has made some additions that can help keep the momentum going. It was fun to watch Mark Brunnell connect with Santana Moss, but this coming year our QB will have Antwaan Randle El from t...

This weekend, the Collectors' Showcase of America show in Chantilly, Virginia includes Terry Bradshaw, Joe Greene, Jack Ham, Rocky Bleier, Ralph Kiner, Terry Hanratty, Donnie Shell, Andy Russell, Antwaan Randle El, Dave Parker, Mark May, & Hines Ward. I did mention that this show takes place in the Washington DC area and not...
ANTWAAN RANDLE-EL IS KEEPING BUSY
Wondering what Antwaan Randle-El's been up to in Washington? Well, wonder no more, thanks to the power of YouTube:Yeah, the Redskins have all the looks of a team poised at a serious Super Bowl run. This is what happens when Clinton Portis is allowed to direct commercials. I'm impressed. And yes, in another Pittsburgh-related twist, that was Sidney Crosby-hating Chris Cooley...
Playoff Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet and Sleepers Week 2
There were some pretty surprising performances last week. Antwaan Randle El, Vincent Jackson and D.J. Hackett far exceeded expectations while usual studs like Plaxico Burress and Clinton Portis laid a freakin egg.
As for my sleepers selections last week, Shaun Alexander, Nate Keading and Jere...
