No Apologies
There has been a lot of talk about the interview I did on HBO's Real Sports.
I have no apologies. I was asked a variety of questions and I answered them.
The fact that the producers and publicists at HBO decided to focus on those
answers that related to race shows that it remains a hot topic in society
today.
Let me address some feedback...

Let's Focus on Detroit
I was encouraged by the way we were able to move the ball late in the game. However, that's not enough. We have to get the ball in the end zone. We need to score touchdowns. And we are still lacking consistency.
Just like we did a few years ago we have to block out our 0-2 start. Concentrate on trying to beat Detroit and build from there.
We are a better team...
Andy Reid Is a Moron
The Eagles throw another game away due to poor coaching are lousy execution. Also includes drug and bathroom sex jokes.
Terrible Timing for Donovan
Here is my opinion on Donovan McNabbs comments on HBO's Real Sports.
Time for Andy Reid to Man Up ! Let's be frank shall we ...
After the 0-2 start i'm not saying the season is over for the Philadelphia Eagles. What I am saying is the calls coming from the sidelines are sorry as hell. Of course the players have to deliver as well but you can't tell me Brett and Jason are better QB's than McNabb.
I'm looking at McNabb trying to be so precise with his throws he's mis-firing. He's trying to place a perfect...
Selective Memory: The Ghost of '99 and Doug Pederson
There was an old circular stadium in South Philly, filled with rabid fans who booed the hell out of Doug Pederson, in hopes of catching Andy Reid's ear to give his dynamite rookie QB a chance to strut his stuff. The booing of Pederson, I assure you, was not based on race.
McNabb needs to start playing football rather than the race card
On HBO's Real Sports McNabb got on the topic of black quarterbacks in the NFL. McNabb said black quarterbacks are criticized more than white quarterbacks. His comments really bothered me, maybe he should talk to Rex Grossman or Eli Manning.
Eagles Fans Take Their Losses Badly
This guy is the Hater and he is most upset about the Eagles 0-2 start to the season.
Unfortunately Defense Wins Championships
After watching the Redskins lay waste to the Eagles I'm still skeptical abut the 'Hogs 2-0 start and the premature crowning of Jason Campbell.
McNabb's play is the real problem
Memo to Donovan McNabb: Quit whining, play better football, get your team in the end zone once in a while and you won't hear quite so much criticism! You're not getting booed because of your race, you're getting booed because you've been stinking it up lately.
McNabb Looks Foolish Compared to Story After His
HBO's piece on McNabb was largely an apologetic piece of fluff. The story after his made him look even worse.
Donovan McNabb is right, yet wrong too
Donovan, I clearly see where you are coming from when stating that because there are so few starting qbs that are white that they are critiqued more harshly, but I've heard more criticism about Rex Grossman over this last year than you, Ryan Leaf was a huge bust and that was heralded for many years, along with Tim Couch. I've also seen the likes of Akili Smith get beat down by the...
Black QBs in the NFL
Donovan,
I absolutely agree with your comments about the criticism black quarterbacks in the NFL face. It's always revealing when God gives us two pictures of the same situation shaded by race. Carson Palmer suffered a ligament injury similar to yours and Daunte's at the end of the 2005 season yet he came back to play/start for the Bengals without fanfare, boos, criticism...
