Running back Ahman Green was on the field after signing his contract this morning, but he wasn't wearing his familiar No. 30. That belongs to fullback John Kuhn, so Green was given No. 34.Green didn't do much with the offense during the extended jog-through period to open practice, instead working mostly as a defender on the "look" team. It's far too early to tell what kind of shape Green is in or what kind of impact he could make in the next few weeks. Also, no word yet on whether Green will ask Kuhn for his old number back. Green likely will address reporters in the locker room later this afternoon. Those who missed practice were: FB Korey Hall (calf)C Jason Spitz (back)LT Chad Clifton (ankle)WR Jordy Nelson (knee)Hall and Nelson aren't expected to play this week. Clifton might try to practice later in the week. He attended practice but didn't participate. Spitz was not in attendance.Coach Mike McCarthy is scheduled to speak at around 1:25 p.m.-- Rob Demovsky, rdemovsk@greenbaypress...
