In only my 2nd Rant ever, I declared Donald Driver my favorite player on the Packers. This has not changed one bit – in fact, with his recent achievement as the Packers all-time receptions leader, I like him even more than ever right now. (Both books are sweet – don’t make me choose a favorite.)The story was drawn from the Don’s real-life childhood experiences as a small but speedy youngster who wants to try out for the football squadron despite his parents’ concerns he’ll get hurt. The cool thing is that all the proceeds benefit the Donald Driver Foundati...

To the head of his class

He had just played his 610th game with that typical toughness. Took enough hits - and delivered one of his own - that he was probably hurting. But Donald Driver flashed that trademark smile anyway, maybe now with a few crinkles around the eyes, and soaked up the once-in-a-lifetime moment...

Why Can't We Play the Lions Every Week?

Sure we might miss out on a Super Bowl or two. And, yes we would never really know how good we were. But in some other parallel universe, wouldn't it be great just to play the Lions every week? At Lambeau?I mean, we can give up an embarrassing amount of sacks, get more penalties than ACORN, establish NO run game, and still smoke our opponents. Isn't that a great thing? It would be...
