At one point, back when I was dreaming that Troy Smith would actually develop into a starting NFL QB, I was all for keeping Big Joe on the bench this year. But after seeing what our beloved 'Vens have done in 3 preseason games, it's pretty obvious we are going to SUCK DONKEY BALLS, so why not let the kid start right off the bat and learn on the job? I just don't see...

?maybe the whole problem would just go away. The Birds lost their second straight preseason game on Saturday night, and not coincidentally, it was the second straight game that family commitments have blocked me from conducting the locally-famous Ravens live chat.
