Ravens' backup quarterback Troy Smith is apparently sick of sitting the bench behind Joe Flacco, and the Ravens apparently feel as though there will be a market for Smith. The quarterback asked for a his trade a few months ago, and the Ravens have said they're willing to accommodate if the right offer comes along. It's going to be difficult for them to sell him to another team, considering he has next to zero playing experience in the NFL.He was very good at Ohio State, however, and his appearance in the National Championship game may be enough for a team to take a chance on him.The 49ers, Panthers, Rams, Bills, Broncos, Seahawks, Raiders, and Redskins could all have an interest in Smith, but it's purely speculation at this point. The Ravens would ask for somewhere between a third and fifth round pick, and could get it based on how desperate the calling team is. Of course, with Michael Vick also on the trading block, the Ravens and Eagles could find the price for their quarterbacks drop.Vick is a known commodity, but Smith seems to have more upside. It's going to come down to preference for a team looking to trade for a quarterback -- that, and whichever guy will come cheaper.
