Redskins, Chiefs tied at 6 after 3 quarters

There was a huge surprise when the Redskins jogged onto the field to start the second half, with backup quarterback Todd Collins taking over for Campbell. Greeted with a large ovation, Collins' first play of the game was a 42-yard strike to Santana Moss, but the big play would be after a penalty pushed Washington back and the Redskins eventually settled for a 40-yard field goal to tie the game at three. Kansas City moved down to the Redskins 36-yard line before stalling and punting, pinning Washington at its own 12-yard line.
